Welcome to My New Beginning: Zero

Many of you know my clinical work through Windward Optimal Health and wind-opt.com. This site is something a little different. It’s a place to explore creativity, art, learning, and the things that spark my curiosity.

Here, I’ll share ideas, discoveries, and events happening both online and in person that I’m passionate about. Some will be opportunities to learn, some will simply be fun, and others may offer a new way of looking at the world. Over time, some of these ideas will also find their way into a new Substack newsletter.

So why start with this picture?

When we think about beginnings, we often think of the number one. But I’ve always appreciated zero and the way it represents both possibility and completion. Zero can be an ending, a starting point, or the space where something new begins. It reminds me that beginnings don’t always have to start with one.

As the seasons change and autumn brings its new colors, it feels like the right time to begin something new.
